The Board is made up of six elected Trustees who all come from different backgrounds. Each Trustee brings experience, knowledge and a different perspective to the decisions of the Trust. What they have in common is a commitment to make sure TECT’s decisions are in the best interests of its Consumers, now and in the future.

Paul was elected as a trustee of TECT in 2014 and appointed Deputy Chair in August 2016. Born and bred in the Bay of Plenty, Paul is passionate about the ongoing development of the Western Bay of Plenty region and recognises the important role that TECT plays in that development. "I'm acutely aware this trust enhances my community's health, education, culture and welfare. A strong trust benefits us all, in terms of TECT Consumers and grant recipients" he says.
Paul's business and legal skills have been honed by 15 years as partner at Tauranga law firm Cooney Lees Morgan. Through his business experience, Paul has gained expertise in commercial law, business management and investment, all skills that he considers will assist him in his Trustee role for TECT.
Paul lives at Mt Maunganui with Tauranga-born wife Sam, daughter Lucy and son Ben.
