What we fund
TECT has a number of different funding schemes to assist our communities with projects. You may only apply once per year if you have had funding approved. We recommend you contact our office to discuss your project before completing an application form to ensure you are filling in the correct form. Please ensure applications are submitted at least 3 months prior to final date the application requires a decision. The Grant Administrators are always happy to discuss your application with you and to offer guidance and advice.

Any electrical equipment or electrical installation costs for new or existing community facilities. Subsidies are generally 50% of the electrical costs with a maximum of $60,000. Eg (but not limited to): wiring, computers, airconditioning, security, appliances – basically anything that uses electricity or electrical-related. |

Applications for events are assessed on the benefits it will provide to our Community and where the event shows local initiative. Eg (but not limited to): festivals, shows. |

Energy efficiency initiatives that conserve electricity, promote energy efficiency in its use and help the environment. Priority is given to those that show local initiative and where the grant will benefit TECT Consumers and a significant part of our Community. Eg (but not limited to): healthy home installation projects, ecobulbs. |
