The TECT District is bound by the original Tauranga Electric Power Board (TEPB) region. In 2003, TECT Trustees agreed to admit Trustpower account holders in Tauranga Council’s old supply area (the area between 17th Avenue and Sulphur Point) as beneficiaries of TECT.
