There are a few things that determine an organisation's ability to apply for TECT funding. We've developed an interactive Q&A to take you through the key eligibility criteria and guide you towards the appropriate fund for your needs.
2. Has your organisation received TECT funding in the last 12 months?
Only one grant will be approved to an organisation in any 12 month period regardless of which funding scheme is being applied to.
3. Are your organisations' accounts required to be audited or reviewed?
Your Trust Deed, Club Rules, or Constitution will specify whether or not your annual accounts are to be audited or reviewed.
TECT requires a copy of your latest financial statements including the auditors report or independant review report where applicable.
If your organisation has elected at an AGM not to have the accounts audited or reviewed, a copy of that minuted resolution is required.
4. Are you applying for funds toward the purchase or build of a new facility, or the rebuild/fitout of a current facility?
TECT funds facilities projects which have a significant benefit to the community. Funds can be directed towards a new facility or a significant upgrade of an existing facility.

Thank you for your enquiry
TECT will consider applications from organisations who are in the process of applying for charitable status.
In some circumstances TECT may consider applications from groups that operate independently but come under the umbrella of a qualifying organisation.
Please contact our office to discuss whether or not your organisation/group qualifies.
Thank you for your enquiry
In some circumstances TECT may consider applications from non-beneficiaries. This normally occurs when an organisation doesn't have its own office or is a national body applying on behalf of a regional organisation or is part of a national project.
It is possible that becoming a TECT beneficiary may be a condition of any funding granted (usually for new facilities).
Please contact our office to discuss whether or not your organisation/group qualifies.
