NFP Governance Essentials Course

The TECT/Institute of Directors Bay of Plenty Branch (IoD BoP) NFP governance scholarships were established in 2021 to enable more NFP Trustees to improve their governance skills and experience through engagement with IoD BoP programmes.  The cost for quality governance training is often a barrier to NFP’s but the value of the training would impact not only the governance but ongoing operational effectiveness of community organisations.

TECT and IoD BoP are offering 10 scholarships and 19 discounted attendances to each of the NFP Governance Essentials Courses in 2021.  

COURSE DATES: 
Tuesday 26th October - 8.30am – 5pm
Tuesday 16th November - 8.30am – 5pm

Process

Applicants must apply and submit application by 30/07/2021.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the applicant must be a current Trustee of a NFP community organisation in the Tauranga/Western BOP district.

Applications must be endorsed by the chairperson/fellow board members of the organisation.

Applicants must complete the attached application form to demonstrate governance development commitment.

Those that are not selected for the scholarship will be offered a discounted rate for attendance.
